- All children are expected to nap or have quiet time depending on their age.
- Each child has his/her own clean bed linens that will be laundered weekly.
- Infants and young toddlers will be allowed to rest at any time that they need.
- Porta-cribs will be provided for infants and toddlers up to 24 months.
- Older children will rest on cots or resting mats.
- Quiet time is from 1:30 – 3:30pm.
Each child under the age of one year shall be placed to sleep on his or her back in a crib and will not sleep with materials such as pillows, fluffy blankets, bumper pads or stuffed animals to reduce the risk of SUID (Sudden Unexpected Infant Death) unless otherwise specified in writing by the child’s physician. Your child who is 12 months of age or older is welcome to bring his/her favorite blanket or stuffed animal for nap time. I will not force a child to sleep, but I will insist that they rest quietly during this time period. Our days are very busy and most children are ready for a rest after lunch.
